What a great day for Walkies 4 Life, thank
you so much for your support. The sponsored walkers and their dogs
enjoyed beautiful weather perfect for humans and hounds alike. The seven
mile walk took in varied terrain including a lovely stroll alongside the
river as they left Bewdley and headed for Stourport. Everyone completed
the walk, well done!!

STUNNING SPRING GARDENS OPEN FOR FDR
Thanks yet again to Roger Brakewell and
his super spring garden in Stourport On Severn. Roger opened his gardens
for Forest Dog Rescue and gave us over £60 in donations, thank you
Roger!

Some very sad news this week, Oban one of
our long term residents was put to sleep on Monday after an x-ray showed
a tumour on his leg which was inoperable . Oban spent a great deal of
his time at Becky's kennels at Gothersley Farm and we would like to
express our appreciation for the care Becky, Sarah and the rest of the
staff gave to Oban, the gentle giant. Run free by Rainbow Bridge old boy
Lucky Puppy!!

This 8 week old puppy was
tossed over a garden wall and landed on a shed roof in freezing conditions, he
was rescued by the kind owner of the house and handed over to us. There is no
need for anyone to dump dogs in today's society, we were happy to be there for
this lucky pup. His name? Tiler, well what else would you expect to find on a
roof?
Great News!!!! Tiler has found
a forever home, Maureen our Vice-Chair took Tiler home for some TLC and she's
fallen under his spell...Lucky dog to have such a super future ahead of him now
